PickNDeal ("we", "us", "our") is a food supplier marketplace operated by IT Developers, Copenhagen, Denmark. We connect restaurants, suppliers, and consumers through our web and mobile applications.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, phone number, business name, and role (restaurant, supplier, or consumer).
  • Order data: items ordered, quantities, prices, delivery details, and order history.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and device information (browser type, OS).
  • Communications: messages exchanged through the platform chat and AI assistant.

3. How we use your data

  • Provide and operate the marketplace platform.
  • Process orders and facilitate communication between buyers and suppliers.
  • Generate smart suggestions and analytics based on your order history.
  • Send transactional notifications (order updates, offer alerts).
  • Improve our services and fix issues.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Other platform users: your business name and contact details are visible to counterparties in a transaction.
  • Service providers: Supabase (database hosting), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email delivery), and Anthropic (AI features).
  • Legal obligations: when required by Danish or EU law.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised order data may be retained for analytics purposes.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Rectify inaccurate data.
  • Request erasure of your data.
  • Object to or restrict processing.
  • Data portability.

7. Account deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time through our account deletion page. Requests are processed within 7 business days.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
